JSON Minifier
Remove every space, newline, and indent from JSON to shrink the payload size, ready to paste into a request body, a config file, or a cache key.
How to use
- Paste JSON into the input.
- Copy the minified output.
- Use it where payload size matters, such as an API request body.
A JSON minifier strips all optional whitespace from JSON, keeping only the tokens the format requires. The result is smaller and still parses identically.
Paste or type something above.
Questions about json minifier
- Does minifying change my data?
- No. Whitespace between tokens is the only thing removed. Values, key order, and number formatting stay as they are.
- Why did minifying fail?
- The input was not valid JSON. Validate it first to find the syntax error.
- Does it preserve number precision?
- Yes. Numbers are re-serialized from the parsed value, so large integers beyond JavaScript number range are the one thing to watch.
