Extract Emails
Pull every email address out of a text and get the list back one per line, validated and ready to paste into a spreadsheet. Each address is validated first.
How to use
- Paste the text into the box.
- Choose whether to keep duplicates and lowercase them.
- Copy the address list.
Extracting emails turns a paragraph of text into a clean list of addresses. Each candidate is validated for shape, so a stray at-sign in a sentence does not end up as a broken row in your list.
Paste or type something above.
Questions about extract emails
- What gets validated?
- One at-sign, no spaces in the local part, and a domain with a dot and a letters-only ending.
- Should I lowercase them?
- Usually yes, because addresses are treated case-insensitively in practice and duplicates then merge cleanly.
- Can it read addresses from a scanned page?
- No, the text has to be selectable. Text copied from a scan or an image needs to be typed or extracted first.
